I am a native Floridian who was born and raised in southern Florida, as well as Jamaica. I attended Florida State University for my undergraduate degree and after working as a veterinary technician in Tallahassee for several years, decided to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine, which I earned from The Ohio State University in 2016. I 

I am a native Floridian who was born and raised in southern Florida, as well as Jamaica. I attended Florida State University for my undergraduate degree and after working as a veterinary technician in Tallahassee for several years, decided to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine, which I earned from The Ohio State University in 2016. I have always respected the bond between pets and their families, including the end of life care they receive. Older animals have always had a special place in my heart and I have always wanted to pursue this special niche in veterinary medicine and help families honor their furry family members. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and share a home with my cat, Loki, my two dogs, Zero and Timmy, and a Ball Python, Prince Louie.

I grew up in a small town in northeastern Pennsylvania. I worked as a pet shop employee, a vet tech, and a zoo intern while earning my undergraduate degree at the George Washington University. I moved to Florida to live closer to my grandparents and attend the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2010, I graduated from vet school and accepted a job as a small animal veterinarian in Tallahassee. 

I have spent the past decade working as a veterinarian and building my family in this wonderful city. I share my cozy home with my husband, daughter, golden retriever, 2 cats, fish, axolotl and guinea pigs. 

I always have had dreams to make a difference in this world by helping people and animals. By fostering and supporting the human-animal bond and helping families navigate through the end of life decisions for their furry family members, I feel as though I have found my calling. I would like to be there for you and your family, with kindness and love, as you honor the life and special relationship you have with your pet.
